Travelling with babies and children tends to involve packing everything but the kitchen sink, with a tiny bit of the case or boot of the car reserved for you! I’m hoping we can ease your load a little by providing various child-orientated things for you to borrow. If you can think of other useful things, do let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

If you’re not holidaying with children, we’ll ensure these items are packed away, so you can enjoy pure grown-up time!

For Babies

~ A travel cot (please bring your own bedding for this)

~ A baby bath seat

~ A changing mat

~ Bath towels with a hood (please lay your baby on the changing mat on the bed to dry. Honestly, speaking from experience I can almost guarantee that he/she will choose that moment to have a giant wee (or worse) on our new duvets!)

~ A high chair

~ Two Bumbos, one of which you’re welcome to take to the beach

~ A food blender for making baby food

~ Plastic plates/beakers/ bowls & cutlery

~ A wipe clean floor (though please whizz up any spills with the kitchen roll provided so they don’t stain)

For Toddlers and Beyond

~ A teepee (the perfect place for a teddy bear’s picnic – just bring the bear), a cosy nook for your little one to read or even have a nap (just imagine the peace!)

~ Toys (including mega blocks and a vintage kitchen with tea party supplies)

~ Buckets and spades to borrow (if you lose of break one please replace with similar)

~ Windbreak and mallet to borrow for the beach

~ Bodyboard to borrow

~ Potty

~ Bathroom step so they can reach the sink

~ Non-slip bathmat

~ Books

~ Games for all the family

~ Digital TV (after an exciting day building sandcastles or exploring real castles, everyone needs some flopping time). The TV is fixed and cannot be pulled forward onto enquiring heads.

~ Bed guard (one single bed is against the wall, the other would need 2 bed guards if you’re bringing your own)

~ And comfy beds with a snuggly duvets so your little ones (or not so little) can sleep the night away dreaming of sand, sea, seagulls, mini trains, parks and sealions!

~ All freestanding units (cupboards, etc) are bolted to the walls for your children’s safety.
